God first laid the vision of Saving Face Saving Grace® (SFSG) on David Mandani’s heart many years ago with a simple call to comfort people in trouble or distress in ways that extend the healing touch of Jesus Christ. God has brought healing to David’s mind through various means, and he is dedicated to caring for others along their journey. Working with church and Christian community leaders, SFSG addresses the tremendous need for people diagnosed with a mental illness, and their loved ones, to find assistance and compassionate support during a mental health crisis. David’s education and professional experiences contribute to a blend of practical, research-based and biblical perspectives. He is a pastor, a professional, a parent and a patient. It is these lived experiences that provide a powerful and unique viewpoint on how to navigate culture, shame and stigma (“Saving Face”) and how to experience freedom and acceptance in a Bible-based faith community (“Saving Grace”).
In 2013, SFSG was established as a nonprofit Christian charity recognized as tax-exempt by the IRS under Section 501(c)(3). David remains accountable to a governing board of directors composed of community and faith-based leaders.
